When outlined in black, everything can look surreal. It goes deeper than the outline. It's almost like you are adding detail. You notice every detail if it is traced over, details you wouldn't see if they were left alone. It is the key purpose of eyeliner. You wouldn't think a single black line would make much of a difference, but it can, and it does. Think, if someone is beautiful it can all be ruined by one mark. People are quicker to notice faults, instead of the beauty behind and within those faults. Why is it that we stare at something if it considered "ugly"? For example, the most beautiful person could enter a room with a scar on their face. Most people would notice the scar and see nothing past it. I am not saying by any means that it is wrong to notice detail. I am saying that it is wrong to only notice one minor detail. That person then is branded by a trivial fault. Such things cause vanity and shame. If we could take the time to see the beauty in a wilted flower, instead of throwing it away and replacing it with a new one, we could see that it is the perfect representation of life, beauty, decay, and death. Such objects were put here as a reminder of the cycle of life. They are not just here for our visual pleasure. It is far more important than that. Everything in this world is a beautiful creation. People often mistake beauty for attractiveness. When in turn they are not at all the same. Beauty is within. Beauty is not just about what is aesthetically pleasing; it can be a part of it, but defiantly not the most important part.
